The Orchard and Mead Campsites will open April to October 2021 inline with the current government guidelines.
Before booking we strongly suggest you read the Government Guidelines with regards to what is and isn’t allowed, you can find these by clicking here.
Our toilet and shower facilities will be open but we encourage you to use them as little as often and if you can avoid using the showers for a short stay, we encourage you to do so. The facilities will be regularly disinfected, as well as having disinfectant products for you to use prior to use, but we do advise to bring your own hand sanitiser where possible.

Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Yes, providing he or she is well behaved, under control at all times at not on the dangerous dogs list.
Q: Are children allowed?
A: No, The Orchard and The Mead campsites are strictly over 18’s.
Q: What’s the difference between The Orchard and The Mead campsites?
A: The Orchard has a lot of trees and therefore suited to smaller camper-vans (and tents) with tighter access from Bredy Lane. The Mead is a large meadow, accommodates larger vehicles and is easily accessed from Bredy Road.
Q: What’s the ground and drainage like?
A: Flat and generally good.
Q: Are there marked pitches?
Q: Can I camp where I like?
A: Yes, except large or loud groups which must be at the far end of The Mead.
Q: Can I play loud music all night & shout a lot?
A: No, all volumes must be minimised from 11pm onwards.
Q: Is there a designated quiet camping area?
A: No but the near ends are generally quieter.
Q: Do you have shower and toilet facilities?
A: Yes, we have composting toilets on both The Orchard and Mead as well as flushing toilets and coin operated showers on the farm.
Q: Is there drinking water on site?
Q: Do you take group bookings?
A: Yes, maximum of six bookings at a time (via our website) and providing Government regulations regarding Covid 19 are adhered to as well as the campsite terms and conditions.
Q: Are fires and BBQ’s allowed?
A: Yes, providing they are off the ground.
Q: Do you sell bags of logs?
A: Yes, from The Cider Shed.
Q: Can I buy takeaway cider?
A: Yes, from The Cider Shed
Q: Can I charge my phone or laptop somewhere?
A: Yes, from the Cider Shed.
Q: Is there WiFi available on the campsite?
A: No, but there is guest WiFi at The Parlour restaurant.
Q: Do you hire fire pits?
A: No, we have a few on both campsites which are free to use but it is recommended to bring your own.
Q: Do you accept twin axle caravans and large motor-homes?
A: Yes, on The Mead campsite.
Q: Do you have electric hook up?
Q: Do you have chemical waste disposal?
Q: Can you freeze my ice packs?
A: Yes, there is a small fridge freezer located near the showers on the farm. Free to use.
Q: Are there check-in / check-out times?
A: Arrive anytime, check in at The Shed between 11am-10pm. Check-out by 12 midday Thursday – Sunday and by 3pm Monday – Wednesday.
Q: Can I cancel or rearrange my booking?

Q: Will I be charged for rearranging my booking?
A: Yes, there is a £10 administration fee.
Q: Will there be live music?
A: Nightly music events and three day festivals re-commence to coincide with Government restrictions being lifted.
Q: I’ve booked camping and want to know if I can book a table or a takeaway from The Parlour Restaurant?
A: Yes, but you’ll need to book in advance and contact them directly: 01308 897899
Q: I’ve booked tickets for one of your festivals but want to camp in The Orchard or The Mead.. not in the festival arena.. can I do this?
A: Festival tickets include camping within the festival arena only. If you would like to camp in The Orchard or Mead you’ll need to make a separate booking.
